The Development Team delivered a Club Development Webinar to clubs across the country on Thursday evening, covering everything from insurance to inclusion in a packed programme aimed at helping committees run stronger, more sustainable clubs.
Fingsal RDO, Tara Congdon kept things moving as MC for the night, leading into presentations from South Leinster RDO Darko, North Leinster RDO Ann-Marie, Munster RDO Liz, Connacht RDO Jean, Schools Coordinator Ali and D&I Officer Aoife.
A special guest on the night was Ciaran Fitzgerald, a former Tennis Ireland Academy player and San Diego College graduate, now Account Director with Brown & Brown Insurance, who joined to share his perspective.

Roger, Director of Development, praised the standard of the presentations on the night, noting how far the team’s delivery has come in a short space of time. As he put it: “Those who fail to prepare, are preparing to fail” and, with a smile, “You can’t teach experience.”
Clubs in attendance were quick to share their thanks, with one describing the session as “very informative and helpful,” and another calling it “thoroughly enjoyable… thank you so much for all your hard work.”
