Tennis Ireland has compiled a list of support services below for mental health and well-being because everyone will experience tough times.

Below are some great resources which may be of help to you or those around you:

Various resources to promote positive mental health, wellbeing and recovery.

Mood self-assessment, well-being audio guides to help with low mood, anxiety, problems sleeping, low confidence and unhelpful thinking as well as support for children and young people.

An Garda Síochána is the national police service of Ireland. The Mission of An Garda Síochána is ‘Working with Communities to Protect and Serve’.

Aware – https://www.aware.ie/

The national organisation providing free support, education and information services to those impacted by anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and related mood conditions.

Jigsaw – https://jigsaw.ie/

Jigsaw give families, educators, and those who support young people’s mental health ways to cope and the skills to be there for young people. 

Pieta – https://www.pieta.ie/

 Pieta provide a professional one-to-one therapeutic service to people who are in suicidal distress, those who engage in self-harm, and those bereaved by suicide. All of their services are provided free of charge and no referral is needed.

Samaritans – https://www.samaritans.org/?currency=EUR&nation=ireland

Samaritans provide 24-hour emotional support, 365 days a year, to anyone experiencing distress, despair or suicidal thoughts.

ISPCC – https://www.ispcc.ie/

The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. Their services include services to children, young people and families also include one-to-one therapeutic support services, Digital Mental Health and Wellbeing Programmes, the resilience-building Smart Moves programme for children and young people making the transition from primary to secondary school and more.
