2025 Irish Open: Main Draw Begins Today with Strong Irish Presence
The 2025 Irish Open is off to a thrilling start as the qualifying rounds wrapped up today, Monday 28th July. Among the standout performances is 14-year-old Irish talent Leah Puk, who won both her qualifier matches to earn a well-deserved place in the main draw. Leah will take to Centre Court at approximately 10:45am, Tuesday 29th July, facing British qualifier Summer Yardley.
Also taking Centre Court tomorrow is Ireland’s top-ranked junior, 17-year-old Eoghan Jennings, who faces fellow Irishman Freddie Murray in an all-Irish clash at approximately 2:00pm.

- The Men’s and Women’s Qualifiers featured 32 entries and concluded Monday 28/7.
- The Men’s draw included 11 Irish players, with notable performances from 15-year-old Patrick Breen and 16-year-old Zac Naughton. Breen pushed the No. 2 seed, Billy Saurez (USA), to a tie-break in a thrilling match.
