World-class tennis
on Irish soil
Top-level men's professional tennis returns to Ireland this summer, as Tennis Ireland hosts an ATP Challenger 75 tournament at Elm Park Golf & Sports Club in Donnybrook, the first event of its kind on Irish soil in almost 20 years.
The Dublin ATP Challenger 75 sits directly below the ATP Tour on the professional tennis ladder, drawing a strong international field of players looking to build ranking points and hit form ahead of the grass-court season. Timed perfectly the week before Wimbledon qualifying, the event promises a week of high-quality tennis in a unique Irish setting.
With wildcard entries creating opportunities for Irish players to compete alongside world-ranked opponents at home, the tournament is as exciting for the next generation as it is for fans of the game.
"We are delighted to welcome back the ATP Challenger Tour to Ireland for the first time in eighteen years and look forward to welcoming some of the world's best up and coming talent, playing on grass at Elm Park, as they warm up for Wimbledon the following week. It will be another fantastic tennis event for our huge playing community to get behind. We encourage fans across Ireland to get their tickets early and be part of this historic moment for tennis in Ireland."
Kevin Quinn, CEO, Tennis Ireland
