Level 1 Coaching Course Registration

Level 1 courses 

  • Spaces are limited to maximum of 14 candidates per course (min. candidates required: 10).
  • All candidates must be Garda Vetted/have Access NI through Tennis Ireland before registering. Vetting must be fully completed before registering as candidates are required to upload their disclosure on the application form. Please note the current turnaround time for vetting is 4-6 weeks. If an applicant has lived in any EU member state or in England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland, the processing time for vetting applications are approximately 10 to 12 weeks.   • Please note candidates must be available for all course dates in order to proceed to the practical assessment. 
  • Payment of €450.00 is due once registration is received and the course is full. Payment is not taken at the time of registration.
  • Candidates will receive a confirmation e-mail and an invoice for payment.

What do I need to register for a course?

Candidates are required to submit the following at the time of registration:

  • Personal details – contact details (U18s must use their parent/guardian -contact details)
  • A copy of your Garda Vetting/Access NI disclosure to upload. See above for more information.
  • Two referees (non-family members) and their email addresses – please ensure they are aware you have submitted them as a reference.
  • The name of the Qualified and Licensed Coach you will be completing your logbook hours with.
  • Why you wish to register for a Level 1 course.
  • Candidates are required to agree to their awareness of the Level 1 course requirements including assessments, participation and their playing ability and agree to the Coach Code of Conduct.

NB – Latest date for Tennis Ireland to receive Garda Vetting applications is 10th September for best chance to complete vetting and be able to register on 13th October. Please note vetting is the responsibility of the applicant and persistent emails to Tennis Ireland will slow down the processing of applications.
