Number 1 Irish tennis seed, Conor Niland, pictured at the launch of the ‘William Fry Junior Lawn Tennis Championships of Ireland 2011’ with 2010 Under 16s winner, Jane Fennelly.

Speaking at the launch, Conor Niland, a former Junior Lawn Tennis Champion, said: “The William Fry Junior Lawn Tennis Championships is Ireland’s main and most prestigious event in youth tennis. Every year, budding professionals emerge from the championships. The event provides much needed exposure to exceptionally talented young players from across the country. I wish them all every success for the week ahead.”   

The William Fry Junior Lawn Tennis Championships 2011 will take place in Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club from Sunday, 14 th August to Saturday, 20 th August. Over 380 aspiring tennis champions, from across the country, will compete in 20 competitions. Over 500 matches will be played at the club throughout the week and supporters are welcome to attend at any stage.
