Sign in Process for Singles

  • Sign in for qualification is before 6pm on Friday. This can currently be done by phone or in person, usually Whatsapp preferred. The phone number is accessible in your IPIN portal.
  • Sign in for main draw is before 6pm on Sunday. This can currently be done by phone or in person, usually Whatsapp preferred. The phone number is accessible in your IPIN portal.
  • Even if you have been given a wildcard, please sign in by phone before Friday 6pm as then this wildcard can be used for someone else if you are moved into main draw or qualifying list without the need for one. Failure to do this could affect your chances in future for a wildcard.
  • Even if you are an alternate, sign in by phone and you still have a chance to make the draw.

 

Sign in Process for Doubles

  • Sign in deadline for doubles is before Monday at 12 noon. Wildcards for doubles can be applied for by emailing [email protected] It is usually best to wait to see draws before sorting doubles partnerships as the order of acceptance is as follows :
  1. Two players, both of them Singles Main Draw participants (as outlined above):
  1. a) Both players ranked, in order of total ranking
  2. b) One ranked and one unranked player, in order of ranking of the one ranked player
  3. c) Two unranked players.
  4. Two players, one a Singles Main Draw participant, the other player a Singles Qualifying participant or Singles Main Draw wild card;
  5. a) Both players ranked, in order of total ranking
  6. b) One ranked and one unranked player, in order of ranking of the one ranked player
  7. c) Two unranked players.
  8. Two players, where one player only is a Singles Main Draw participant:
  9. a) Both players ranked, in order of total ranking;
  10. b) One ranked and one unranked player, in order of ranking of the ranked player
  11. c) Two unranked players.
  12. Two players, where both players in the team were/are Singles Qualifying participants and/or a Singles Main Draw wild card(s);
  13. a) Both players ranked, in order of total ranking
  14. b) One ranked and one unranked player, in order of ranking of the one ranked player
  15. c) Two unranked players.
  16. Two players, where one player was/is a Singles Qualifying participant or a Singles Main Draw wild card;
  17. a) Both players ranked, in order of total ranking
  18. b) One ranked and one unranked player, in order of ranking of the one ranked player
  19. c) Two unranked players.
  20. Two players, neither a Singles Main Draw nor Singles Qualifying participant:
  21. a) Both players ranked, in order of total ranking
  22. b) One ranked and one unranked player, in order of ranking of the one ranked player
  23. c) Two unranked players.

If two or more teams are tied within any combinations of 1-6 above, the order shall be drawn by lot.

Note 1: Main Draw Direct Acceptances above do not include Wild Cards

Note 2: Doubles Wild Cards are in addition to this.

 

Practice Courts

Always check with tournament director the amount of practice courts available and what time they open and close. Usually there will be a sign up process for practice courts so when you see when your match is likely to be, work out a good practice time and book a court.
