Ireland Geared up for Davis Cup World Group II tie against Barbados

Ireland are in preparation for their big tie against Barbados this Friday and Saturday in Davis Cup World Group II which takes place in Garfield Sobers Sports Complex in Barbados.

A win would see the boys in green progress to World Group I playoffs, the most significant achievement of an Irish Davis Cup team in years.

The tie starts on Friday 16th September at 11.00am local time (4.00pm Irish time) with two singles matches, followed by play on Saturday at 10.00am local time starting with doubles, followed by two singles. The official draw took place this morning with matches as follows:

 

Friday 16th September

Simon Carr vs Matthew Foster Estwick (start time 11.00am)

Followed by Osgar O’hOisin vs Darian King

Saturday 17th September

Conor Gannon & Osgar O’hOisin vs Darian King & Hayden Lewis (start time 10.00am)
