05 Aug Tennis Ireland Enjoy Tennis Funding Opportunity
Sport Ireland recently announced a new ‘Sport for All’ disability supports club fund as part of this year’s Dormant Accounts Fund. All affiliated Irish tennis clubs will have an opportunity to secure up to €5,000 in funding for initiatives of their choice within the disability supports space. We see this as an ideal opportunity to strengthen our Enjoy Tennis programme, accelerating our progress towards offering an Enjoy Tennis Programme in every Irish tennis club. Funds can be used to provide Enjoy Tennis coaching, training coaches, investing in equipment to support players with disabilities, club memberships for players with disabilities and a variety of other options.
All affiliated clubs will receive an application form which needs to be returned to Tennis Ireland by the 21st of August.
We will hold a one-hour webinar on Wednesday August 10th at 7pm to discuss the funding opportunity and our Regional Development Officers will contact clubs directly to provide further details and answer any questions they may have.
