03 May TENNIS IRELAND ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF BRÍAN SPARKS TO THE KEY ROLE OF COMMERCIAL AND PARTNERSHIP MANAGER
Tennis Ireland announced today the appointment of Brían Sparks to the key role of Commercial and Partnership Manager for the company.
Irish Tennis continues to thrive with many clubs reporting spikes in new membership applications over the past two years and a welcome return to a full calendar of national and international events. Tennis Ireland’s strategic development plan aims to elevate the profile of tennis at all touch points. The plan includes broadening participation, optimising coaching structures, expert support for the tennis community at all levels, strengthening performance development and maximising commercial opportunities for the sustainable future of the sport.
Brían joins Tennis Ireland with extensive international marketing and innovation experience having worked for multinational corporations and creative agencies in Ireland, Belgium, Italy and Sweden. He holds level 9 qualifications in Creative Thinking, Innovation and Entrepreneurship from TCD and Design Thinking for Sustainability from UCD. A former national badminton champion, Brian’s true passion and allegiance lies with tennis. He is currently the President of Templeogue Tennis Club, Dublin where he has enjoyed playing tennis since early childhood.
