28 Apr Ireland Seniors Return to Action
This week sees the return of Ireland Seniors to international competition after the impact of COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021.
Ireland Seniors are playing in the ITF World Team Championships from 24th to 29th April which takes place in Palm Beach, Florida.
Tennis Ireland is delighted to see a number of Mens and Womens teams in the 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 age groups representing Ireland at the Championships in what is set to be a great week of tennis.
Next week the Mens 50 / 55 and 60 as well as the Womens 55 teams fly to Florida to compete in their respective ITF Cups in Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, USA from Sunday 1 May – Friday 6 May.
Seniors Four Nations 2022
Ireland Seniors will also be competing at the Seniors Four Nations from 30th April – 2nd May against England, Scotland and Wales.
Split across two venues, Ireland will compete in the Mens and Ladies 35/ 45/ 50 age groups in Wrexham Tennis Centre while the Mens and Ladies 55 / 60 / 65 age groups will compete in Bolton.
This is a great opportunity for these players to return to the court and represent Ireland and Tennis Ireland would like to wish all the players and captains the very best of luck in all of their matches.
