Tennis Europe week 2 Dublin

There was plenty of Irish representation on finals day of the second Tennis Europe week at the BNP Paribas

 National Tennis Centre in DCU yesterday. Conor McCabe won his first TE title defeating fellow Irish

 player Harry Ellesmere 7-5 6-2

McCabe saw off some tough opposition beating the no 1 and 3 seeds on the way to the final.

Ellesmere a novice to the Tennis Europe circuit earned his first TE ranking points this month on home

 soil.

Ellesmere teamed up with Charlie Barry in the doubles to record another success defeating Filipe Costa(BRA) and

Alexander De Sousa(GBR) 6-1 6-2

In the girls singles Aubane Droguet of France made it two consecutive titles defeating Savannah

Yardley(GBR) in straight sets 6-3 6-0. In the doubles The Irish pair of Ciara O’Toole and Ellie O’Kane

were runners up to the all British No 1 seeds Lillian Mould and Holly Staff
