This week sees a rise in Irish player’s ATP rankings with James McGee reaching a career high of 152 following another week of great results in Savannah, Georgia http://savannahchallenger.com/ just falling short in the final where he lost to Hyeon Chung (KOR) 3-6, 2-6
Sam Barry was victorious in doubles with his partner Victor Ouvrard of France winning the Futures in Tunisia in straight sets.
James Cluskey also sees his doubles ATP ranking climb to a personal career high of 152. Cluskey and fellow Irish player and Davis Cup partner David O’Hare recently announced their new partnership and got off to a great start in Brazil last week reaching the semi-finals, only to lose out in a championship tiebreak 4-6, 6-1, 7-10. O’Hare’s ranking is also a new career record of 260 up 31 points.
Peter Bothwell’s also up 172 places to reach a career high of 1507.
Jenny Claffey has made an outstanding arrival to the Itfprocircuit and this week saw her reach her first €10k futures semi-final in Tunisia and recorded her first doubles win partnering Kathinka VON DEICHMANN of Liechtenstein .
