Glancy and Bowtell win doubles
Daniel Glancy and Amy Bowtell have both won doubles titles over the weekend in Belgium.
Daniel Glancy and partner Manuel Sanchez of Mexico won the mens doubles title at the Richoh Men’s Trophy in Koksijde. They defeated no. 1 seeds Joris De Loore (BEL) / Oliver Golding (GBR) 3-6 6-2 [10-8] to win the title.
Sam Barry reached the quarterfinals of the mens singles but was overcome 7-5 6-2 by Niels Desein (BEL) who was the eventual winner of the mens singles title.
Also in Belgium, Amy Bowtell and partner Samantha MURRAY (GBR) defeated Steffi Distelmans (BEL) / Magali Kempen (BEL) on a scoreline 6-3 6-3 to win the womens doubles title at the Westend Ladies Tenniscup in Middelkerke.
