Josh Goodall of Great Britain has won the 2012 FBD Mens Irish Open this afternoon at Fitzwilliam TC.
26 year old Goodall faced Michael Look of Australia in the finals winning the first set 7-6 followed by a 6-4 win in the second set to win the final and claim the 2012 title. This was Goodall’s seventh Futures final of 2012 with five of them resulting in a title win.
The doubles final took place yesterday evening with Albano Olivetti and partner Elie Rousset of France defeating James McGee (IRL) and Jaime Pulgar-Garcia (ESP) at a rainy Fitzwilliam TC last night. The French duo won the title on a 6-3 6-4 scoreline.
