Setanta Sports Announce Roland Garros Coverage for 2012
Setanta Sports have confirmed that they have agreed a three year deal to show live coverage of Roland Garros. The agreement starts with this year’s event and continues through 2014. Live coverage of the 2012 event runs from May 27th to June 10th and the majority of the live action will be shown on the Setanta Ireland channel.

This is our first time broadcasting this prestigious event and our first venture into Grand Slam tennis. There has never been a better time for us to win these rights. The men’s game is fascinating at present with 3 great players vying for dominance. The women’s singles at Roland Garros in recent times has proven harder to predict with 5 different winners in the last five years.
