Weekend Results from TE Braga
A number of Irish players travelled to Braga in Portugal this weekend for the TE Braga. In the boys singles qualifiers, Conor McCabe faced Simao Alves (PRT) but was defeated on a scoreline 6-4 6-1. In the girls singles qualifiers, Zara Ryan faced Raquel Amaro (VEN) but was overcome on a scoreline 6-1 6-1.
In the boys singles main draw first round, Oisin Shaffrey will face Gonçalo Ferreira (PRT) while in the girls singles main draw, Eimear O’Neill will face Francisca Jorge and Georgia Drummy will play Sofya Golubovskaya (RUS) in the first round.
