Laura Reid travelled to Portugal this week for the Tennis Europe XIX Taça Internacional Maia Jovem 2012. Laura faced [PRT] Mariana Rocha (PRT) in the first round of the girls singles but was defeated 2-6 6-3 6-2.
Laura partnered Erem Akyurt (TUR) for the doubles event. The pair suffered a first round defeat to Andrea Garcia Fernandez (ESP) / Adeliya Zabirova (RUS) on a scoreline 5-7 6-1 11-9.
