Tennis Ireland wishes to acknowledge all the messages of support for Conor Niland received overnight from the Irish tennis community. Conor went on court against Djokovic yesterday having struggled with food poisoning in the 48 hours leading into the match and out on a very brave performance in all the circumstances.
Today is Louk Sorensen’s turn and he squares up to Robin Soderling (no. 6 seed) at 4pm Irish time on Grandstand. The Grandstand is one of the televised courts and we will advise any details of tv coverage as soon as this information comes to hand.
