Sorensen in second round of US Open qualifiers
Louk Sorensen has joined Conor Niland in the second round of the mens singles qualifiers at the US Open after his first round win yesterday.
Louk had a 7-6 6-4 win over Arnau Brugues-Davi (ESP) in the first round yesterday to earn a place in the second round of the qualifiers. He will face Gastao Elias (POR) in the second round later on today (5th match after an 11am start).
Conor Niland is also in action today after his defeat of Pavol Cervenak (SVK) in the first round on Tuesday on a scoreline 6-1 6-4. His second round challenge is Tsung-Hua Yang (TPE) who is a former junior world no. 1 (2nd match after an 11am start).
