Amy Bowtell qualifies for main draw in Great Britain
Amy Bowtell has qualified for the womens singles main draw at the $25,000 Woking-Foxhills 2011 after a 6-7(4) 7-5 7-6(6) win over Laura Slater (GBR) in the final round of the qualifiers. Amy’s next challenge is Catalina Pella (ARG) in the womens singles first round.
Emily Madill also competed in the womens singles qualifiers this weekend. She faced no. 7 seeded Lucy Brown (GBR) in the first round but was unfortunate to suffer a 6-2 6-1 defeat.
