Davis Cup Ireland vs. Tunisia begins tomorrow

 
Ireland will face Tunisia this weekend 8 – 10 July at David Lloyd Riverview in the Europe/Africa Zone Group II play-offs.

 

The Irish team of Conor Niland, James McGee, Barry King and James Cluskey have been training at David Lloyd Riverview over the past two weeks getting ready for the tie this weekend with non-playing captain, Garry Cahill.

 

Representing Tunisia are Malek Jaziri, Anis Ghorbel, Sami Ghorbel, Fares Kilani and their captain Walid Jallali who arrived in Dublin last weekend.

Irish no. 1 Conor Niland will be playing his first competitive match since Wimbledon where he achieved a place in the first round of the mens singles, a feat that hasn’t been achieved by an Irish tennis player in over thirty years.

 

Tennis Ireland will be providing free flags and face painting  for the young (and the young at heart)!
