Madill fails to advance in Turkey

Emily Madill was unfortunate to suffer a 6-1 6-0 defeat to Ekaterina Nikitina (RUS) in the womens singles qualifiers at the $10,000 Antalya 2011 this weekend. Amy Bowtell is also competing at this tournament and has earned a bye in the womens singles qualifiers first round. No. 3 seeded, Bowtell will face Akvile Parazinskaite (LTU) in the second round.
