Amy Bowtell qualifies for main draw in Wrexham

17 year old Amy Bowtell has qualified for the main draw of the womens singles at the AEGON GB Pro-Series Wrexham. She defeated Hannah Hume (GBR) in the first round on a scoreline 7-5 6-3 and had a 6-0 6-2 win over Dominique Covington (GBR) in the final round of the qualifiers. Amy will play Amanda Elliott (GBR) in the first round of the womens singles main draw this morning.
 
Julia Moriarty is also competing at this event. She will play Jade Windley (GBR) in the first round of the womens singles main draw this afternoon.
