Three Irish Players in second round in Naples

Sam Barry, Daniel Glancy and Barry King have all advanced to the second round of the mens singles at the Italy F29 Futures 2010 in Naples. Barry King earned his place in the second round yesterday morning when he overcame Daniele Pepe (ITA) on a scoreline 6-3 6-0.

Sam Barry faces no. 7 seeded Massimo Capone (ITA) this morning while Barry King will play no. 4 seeded Federico Torresi (ITA) on centre court. Daniel Glancy’s next challenge is no. 3 seeded Andrea Falgheri (ITA) following Sam Barry’s match.

In the doubles event, Daniel Glancy and Barry King have qualified for the second round after a 6-3 6-3 win over Italians Civarolo / Patracchini in the first round. They will play Eremin (ITA) / Napolitano (ITA) in the quarterfinals this evening.
