Julia Moriarty faced Karen Filippou (AUS) in the first round of the womens singles main draw at the $25,000 Darwin 2010 and advanced to the second round after a 3-6 6-0 6-2 win. Her next challenge was no. 6 seeded Jessica Moore and Julia was unfortunate to suffer a 6-0 7-5 defeat to the Australian.
