Bowtell advances to second round

Amy Bowtell has advanced to the second round of the girls singles main draw at the Vila Do Conde Junior Tennis Cup 2010 after a 6-4 6-2 win over Gaelle Rey (SUI) in the first round. Amy will now play no. 5 seeded Yana Sizikova (RUS) for a place in the quarterfinals.

Amy reached the finals of the doubles event at the Taca Diogo Napoles tournament last week and recently the final round of the ladies singles at the Chiswick 2010 tournament in Great Britain.
