Holly Monahan faced Lea Schings (GER) yesterday in the girls u16 but was defeated on a scoreline 6-2 6-0 in the quarterfinals. In the doubles event, Holly teamed up with Signe Lazdina (LAT) and the pair suffered a 6-1 6-3 defeat to Leila Heinz / Lea Schings in the first round

In the u14 girls singles qualifiers Niamh O’Brien advanced to the second round after a 6-2 7-5 win over Juliette Bastin (GER) in the first round but was unfortunate to suffer a 6-1 7-5 defeat to Katharina Herpertz (GER) in the second round.
