Argayon Cup Results Update

Niamh O’Brien and Holly Monahan are competing in the Argayon Cup in Belgium this week.

In the u14 girls singles qualifiers Niamh O’Brien advanced to the second round after a 6-2 7-5 win over Juliette Bastin (GER) in the first round but was unfortunate to suffer a 6-1 7-5 defeat to Katharina Herpertz (GER) in the second round.

No. 4 seeded Holly Monahan has received a bye in the first round of the girls u16 singles main draw. She will play Ksenia Antonova (RUS) in the second round. In the doubles event, Holly has teamed up with Signe Lazdina (LAT) and the no. 1 seeded duo will play German pair Leila Heinz / Lea Schings in the first round.
