A number of Irish players have travelled to the AEGON Junior International Solihull this week.

 

Girls u14
Nicola Dummy has advanced to the quarterfinals of the girls singles after a 6-4 6-4 win over Sian Payne in the third round. Earlier in the week, Lucy Octave played Corinne Blythe (GBR) in the first round but was unfortunate to suffer a 6-3 6-0 defeat and Emily Beatty suffered a 6-0 6-0 defeat in the first round to Maia Lumsden (GBR).

For the doubles event, Nicola Drummy has teamed up with Natalie Syme (GBR) and they have received a bye in the first round.
 
Boys u14
In the u14 boys singles qualifiers, Coilin MacNamara had a walkover in the first round but suffered a 6-2 6-1 defeat to Kane Patience (GBR) in the second round. In the u14 boys singles main draw, Eoin McGovern received a bye in the first round but was defeated by Christopher Morrow (GBR) in the second round on a scoreline 6-1 6-0.
