Amy Bowtell in second round in Germany

Amy Bowtell has advanced to the second round of the girls singles at the NRW Junior Open in Germany. No. 1 seeded Bowtell had a 6-0 7-5 win over Katharina Hering (GER) and will now face Daria Afanasyeva (RUS) in the second round.

Amy Bowtell has partnered Gabriela Pantuckova (CZE) for the doubles and the pair have received a bye in the first round.
