Gleeson advances to second round in Newcastle

Alan Gleeson has advanced to the second round of the boys singles at the AEGON Junior International Newcastle 2010 after a 6-2 6-1 win over Alexander Croker of Great Britain in the first round. Alan will now play no.6 seeded Joshua Page of Great Britain in the second round.

For the doubles event, Gleeson is partnering Jathan Malik of Great Britain and they will face British duo Archer/ Crawshaw in the first round.
