U14 Boys
Luke Maguire was unfortunate to suffer a 6-4 6-1 defeat to Johannes Ingildsen (DEN) in the first round of the u14 boys singles main draw and Fraser McFall lost 6-2 6-4 to Oliver Michelsen (DEN).
In the doubles, Luke Maguire has teamed up with Jouke Jan Schaap and received a bye in the first round.
U14 Girls
In the u14 girls singles Julie Byrne faced Elena Van Der Sypt (GER) in the first round of the girls singles but was unfortunate to suffer a 6-1 6-0 defeat. Nicola Drummy had a first round win over Anna Petersen (GER) on a scoreline 6-1 6-0 and Karola Patricia Bejenaru was defeated 6-3 6-3 by Emma Roenholt (DEN) in the first round. Lucy Octave will play Kathrine Berge of Denmark in the first round today. In the girls singles qualifiers, Aisling O’Riordan and Emily Beatty were competing in the girls singles qualifiers but were unfortunate not to advance to the main draw.
In the doubles event, Julie Byrne, and Karola Patricia Bejenaru, Nicola Drummy and Aisling O’Riordan will all be competing.
U16 Boys
In the u16 boys singles event, Peter Mimnagh Flemming was unfortunate to suffer a 6-2 6-2 defeat to no. 4 seed Daniel Loebel of Germany. Robert Dudley will face Simeon Rossier in the first round today. Both boys have teamed up for the doubles and have received a bye in the first round.
U16 Girls
Jane Fennelly will compete in the girls u16 singles and doubles events.
