Conor Niland advances in ATP Marburg Open

Conor Niland is competing in the mens singles and doubles events at the Marburg Open 2010 in Germany this week.

After qualifying for the mens singles main draw, Niland had a 6-4 7-5 win over Guillermo Olaso (ESP) in the first round. He will now face Denis Gremelmayr of Germany in the second round.

In the doubles, Niland and partner Andreas Siljestrom (SWE) suffered a 7-6(7) 6-4 defeat Konstantin Kravchuk(RUS)/ Ivan Sergeyev (UKR) in the first round.
