McGee fails to advance in Tunisia
James Cluskey, James McGee and Colin O’Brien travelled to Tunisia this week for the Tunisia F1 Futures.
James McGee faced no. 2 seed Malek Jaziri (TUN) in the quarterfinals of the mens singles yesterday but was unfortunate to suffer a 6-2 4-6 7-6(2) defeat.
Earlier in the week, James Cluskey faced no. 8 seed Marco Simoni (ITA) in the first round of the mens singles but suffered a 2-6 7-6(1) 6-4 defeat to the Italian and Malek Jaziri (TUN) had a 6-3 6-3 win over Colin O’Brien in the second round.
Cluskey and O’Brien also competed in the doubles but suffered a 6-4 6-4 defeat to Spanish duo Gutierrez-Ferrol / Mazon-Hernandez in the first round.
