McGee advances to quarterfinals in Tunisia
James Cluskey, James McGee and Colin O’Brien travelled to Tunisia this week for the Tunisia F1 Futures.
James McGee and Colin O’Brien were in action in the second round of the mens singles at the Tunisia F1 Futures in Tunis yesterday.
McGee had a 7-5 6-2 win over Omar Hedayet (EGY) while O’Brien suffered a 6-3 6-3 defeat to no. 2 seed Malek Jaziri (TUN). McGee will now face the no. 2 seed in the quarterfinals of the mens singles.
Earlier in the week, James Cluskey faced no. 8 seed Marco Simoni (ITA) in the first round of the mens singles but suffered a 2-6 7-6(1) 6-4 defeat to the Italian.
Cluskey and O’Brien also competed in the doubles but suffered a 6-4 6-4 defeat to Spanish duo Gutierrez-Ferrol / Mazon-Hernandez in the first round.
