Book Published by Irish Player’s Mother

Irish player, Julia Moriarty’s mother has recently published a book in Australia. ‘Listening to Country’ by Ros Moriarty tells the moving and personal story of one woman’s journey into the remote and rugged Tanami Desert in Australia with the matriarchs of her husband’s family.
 
Ros Moriarty travelled for Egypt with her daughter Julia for the Fed Cup in Cairo last month and stood in as team captain when Garry Cahill was unable to travel due to the ash plume that prevented air travel from Ireland for a number of days.
 
Ms. Moriarty is currently Designer and Managing Director of Balarinji Studio located in New South Wales Australia.
