Morgan Lohan played yesterday in the second round of the boys’ 12 singles draw at Bressuire. He was unfortunately defeated 6-2 6-3 by Boris Fassbender of France. In the boys’ 11 doubles, Cian Maguire and Oisin Shaffrey competed in the quarterfinals, but were defeated 6-0 6-3 by Alexis Galarneau and Denis Shapovalov of Canada. Shaffrey also played in the boys’ 11 consolation round. He faced Dinh Khol Nguyen of Vietnam, but was defeated 6-1 6-2.
 
On the girls’ side, Katie Kirby and Laua Reid are teamed up in the girls’ 12 doubles. They defeated Pauline Maklenkov of France and Parli Parn of Estonia, 6-1 6-4 and will play Ana Akhalkatsi of Georgia and Apolline Rassat of France in the quarterfinals. They are also both competing in the girls’ 12 consolation round. Kirby defeated Mira Antonitsch of Austria, 6-2 7-5, in the first round and will face Charline Anselmo of France in the second. Reid was defeated in the second round by Elisa Thomas of France after a first round bye. Thomas was victorious  6-4 6-3.
 
Georgia Drummy, Shauna Casey and Jennifer Timoten are all in the girls’ 11 consolation draw at Bressuire. Drummy defeated Demi Tran of the Netherlands 6-4 6-0 in the first round. She will face Dounia Tellah of Algeria in her next match. Casey has yet to play after receiving a bye in the first round, but she will take on Eva Berton of France in her first match. Timoten moves to the second round as well, after a 6-4 6-0 victory over Amandine Bonnin of France.
