Conor Niland fails to advance in Sarajevo
Conor Niland faced Tobias Kamke (GER) in the second round of the mens singles this morning in Sarajevo at the ATP Challenger Tour BH Telecom Indoors 2010 in Bosnia & Herzegovina this morning. He suffered a 6-0 6-3 defeat to Kamke.
Niland defeated Marsel Ilhan (TUR) once again yesterday after his 6-3 6-2 6-1 win over the Turkish player on Friday night at Fitzwilliam LTC, Dublin for the Davis Cup. He defeated no. 2 seed Marcel Ilhan (TUR) yesterday afternoon on a scoreline 4-6 6-3 7-6(4). Niland previously defeated Ilhan 6-4 2-6 6-3 in the quarter finals of the mens singles at the Turkey F9 Futures in September.
Earlier this year, Niland, who is currently ranked 241, reached the semi final of the mens singles at the Kazan Challenger 2010 in Russia and the third round of the mens singles qualifiers at the Australian Open in Melbourne.
