Amy Bowtell played Russian, Aminat Kushkhova in the first round of the girls singles yesterday but suffered a 4-6 6-2 6-2 defeat. In the doubles she will play with her partner from last week Agata Baranska (POL) and they will face the no. 1 seed pair Jabeur (TUN) / Seateun (FRA) in the first round. Bowtell and Baranska reached the final round of the girls doubles at the SFAX ITF Junior Tournament last week in Tunisia.
 
Sixteen year old Bowtell recently achieved a place in the second round of the girls singles event at the grade 1 22nd Czech International Junior Indoor Championships and was a finalist in the ladies singles at the Babalot National Indoors in December.

The final result of Sam Barry’s first round challenge is not availableyet  but he is currently leading 6-2 40-30 over Ameur Ben Hassen (TUN). In the doubles Barry will also compete with his partner from last week Mate Zsiga (HUN). They will face Tunisian duo Chargui / Hamza in the first round.
 
Eighteen year old Barry reached the second round of the boys singles and doubles at the Australian Open Juniors recently and the final of the boys doubles at the grade 1 Loy Lang International in Traralgon, Australia.
