McGee and Niland Results from France

James McGee and Conor Niland have travelled to France this week for the France F3 Futures in Bressuire.
 
Conor Niland faced Andis Juska (LAT) yesterday afternoon in the mens singles but was unfortunate not to proceed suffering a 4-6 6-3 6-2 defeat in the first round.
 
Niland achieved a place in the semifinals of the $50,000 ATP Challenger Kazan Kremlin Cup in Russia last week and earlier in the year he progressed to the final round of the mens singles qualifiers at the Australian Open.
 
James McGee was defeated 6-7(8) 6-4 6-4 by Antony Depuis (FRA) in his first round challenge. He also competed in the mens doubles with Daniel Danilovic (MNE). They played French duo Baptiste Bayet / Simon Cauvard in the first round with a 6-2 7-6(2) win for the Frenchmen.
 
McGee is currently ranked 502 and recently competed at Germany and Great Britain Futures events earlier this year.
 
James McGee will compete in the Davis cup with Conor Niland 5th – 7th March along with Louk Sorensen and Barry King.
