MLP Cup 2010: King achieves a place in second round of mens singles

Barry King and Colin O’Brien are taking part in the mens singles and doubles events at the MLP Cup 2010 in Germany.

Barry King defeated Patrick Lubanski (GER) in the first round of the mens singles on a scoreline 6-2 4-6 6-1. King will now play Daniel Lustig (CZE) in the second round of this event.

Colin O’Brien faced no. 2 seed Niels Desein (BEL) and suffered a 6-7(3) 6-3 7-6(3) defeat in the first round of the mens singles.

King and O’Brien received a bye in the first round of the mens singles and will play Luxemburg duo Muller / Scheidweiler in their first challenge.
