Sam Barry Results from Final of Boys Doubles at Loy Yang Traralgon International 2010

 
Boys Doubles
Sam Barry and partner Ben McLachlan (NZL) achieved a place in the final of the boys doubles event at the Loy Yang Traralgon International 2010 in Australia. They were defeated earlier this morning 6-3 6-4 by Australian duo Duckworth and Mitchell in the doubles final.

 

Barry and McLachlan defeated no. 5 seed 6-4 6-3 Alcantara (PHI) / Clezar (BRA) in the second round and German no. 1 seed Krawietz / Schulz in the quarter finals. In the semi final they had a 6-3 6-4 win over Huang (TPE) / Uchiyama (JPN).

 

John Morrissey also took part in this event partnering Lavie (NZL) but they failed to advance past the first round. They were defeated by 6-2 6-3 to Dutch duo Eleveld and Lupescu.

Doubles Results

Boys Singles
Sam Barry was defeated 6-4 6-2 by no. 3 seed Liang-Chi Huang (TPE) in the second round of the boys singles. Barry had a 7-6(4) win over Jiri Vesely (CZE) in the first round.

John Morrissey was unfortunate not to proceed past the first round after being defeated 6-4 7-5 by Australian, Luke Saville in the first round of the boys singles.
