Sam Barry Reaches Finals of Boys Doubles at Loy Yang Traralgon International 2010
Boys Doubles
Sam Barry and partner Ben McLachlan (NZL) have achieved a place in the final of the boys doubles event at the Loy Yang Traralgon International 2010 in Australia. Barry and McLachlan defeated no. 5 seed 6-4 6-3 Alcantara (PHI) / Clezar (BRA) in the second round and German no. 1 seed Krawietz / Schulz in the quarter finals. In the semi final they had a 6-3 6-4 win over Huang (TPE) / Uchiyama (JPN).
Barry and McLachlan will play Australian duo Duckworth and Mitchell in the doubles final.

John Morrissey also took part in this event partnering Lavie (NZL) but they failed to advance past the first round. They were defeated by 6-2 6-3 to Dutch duo Eleveld and Lupescu.
Boys Singles
Sam Barry was defeated 6-4 6-2 by no. 3 seed Liang-Chi Huang (TPE) in the second round of the boys singles. Barry had a 7-6(4) win over Jiri Vesely (CZE) in the first round.
John Morrissey was unfortunate not to proceed past the first round after being defeated 6-4 7-5 by Australian, Luke Saville in the first round of the boys singles.
