O’Brien, King and McGee have stayed in Malaysia for a third week to compete in the Malaysia F6 Futures.
Mens Singles
Barry King was defeated by Kittiphong Wachiramanowong (THA) in the first round of the mens singles on a scoreline 7-5 6-3 . Colin O’ Brien has advanced to the second round of the mens singles after defeating Jaan-Frederik Brunken (GER) on a scoreline 6-4 6-2. He will now play no. 3 seed Ranjeet Virali-Murugesan (IND) this morning. James McGee also had a win in the first round. He defeated Ariez Elyaas Deen Heshaam (MAS) on a scoreline 6-2 6-1 and will now play Sandro Ehrat (SUI) in the second round.
Mens Singles
Mens Doubles
Colin O’Brien and RohanGajjar (IND) have advanced to the second round after having a 6-1 6-1 win over Sanchez (MEX) / Zainal (MAS). They will now play Siributwong (THA) / Siriluethaiwattana (THA) in the quarter final this afternoon. O’Brien and Gajjar reached the finals of the mens doubles last weekend at the Malaysia F5 Futures but lost 4-6 3-6 to Betau (BLR) / Zhyrmont (BLR).
Barry King and partner Pavic (CRO) were defeated in the first round of the mens doubles by Koreans Cho and Kim on a scoreline 6-7(5) 7-6(4) [10-6].
