O’ Brien in Doubles Final at Malaysia F5 Futures 2009

Barry King, Colin O’Brien and James McGee stayed in Malaysia this week to compete in the Malaysia F5 Futures after competing there last week in the Malaysia F4 Futures in Kuala Lumpar.
 
Mens Doubles
Colin O’Brien and Rohan Gajjar (IND) have reached the final of the mens doubles. They will play Siarhei Betau (BLR) / Dzmitry Zhyrmont (BLR).
 
O’Brien/Gajjar had a 6-0 6-2 win over Dmitriy Borodkin (KAZ) / Rynat Khusainov (KAZ) in the first round, a 6-4 4-6 [10-7] win over Huang (TPE) / Siriluethaiwattana (THA) in the quarterfinals and a 7-5 7-6(5) win over Malaysian duo Jaya / Si.

Barry King and James McGee were defeated in the first round on a scoreline 6-4 6-4 by Pirmin Haenle (GER) / Vivek Shokeen (IND).
 
Mens Doubles

Mens Singles
Colin O’Brien has been defeated in the second round of the mens singles by Kittiphong Wachiramanowong (THA) on a scoreline 7-6(4) 5-7 6-1. He had a 7-5 7-5 win over no. 4 seed Rohan Gajjar (IND) in the first round.

Matheson Klein (AUS) defeated James McGee (IRL) in the first round of the mens singles on a scoreline 4-6 6-4 6-1. Barry King was defeated 6-3 6-4 by no. 1 seed Vishnu Vardhan (IND).
