Louk Sorensen in Second Round in Japan

Sorensen defeated Andis Juska (LAT) 6-1 6-2 in the first round of the mens singles at the $50,000 Keio Challenger, Japan. He previously defeated the Latvian in 2007 on a scoreline 6-4 6-2. Sorensen will now play no. 3 seed Dieter Kindlmann (GER) in the second round. Kindlmann is currently ranked 181 and competed in the Eckental Challenger earlier this month where he reached the semi final.
 
Sorensen was also playing the doubles event earlier in the week partnering Simon Stadler (GER) but they were defeated 2-6 6-3 11-9 by Alexey Kedryuk (KAZ) / Junn Mitsuhashi (JPN) in the first round.
 
This tournament will continue throughout the week with the finals taking place on Sunday 22nd November 2009
