Louk Sorensen in Main Draw of $50,000 Calabasas Pro Tennis Championships
Louk Sorensen has qualified for the main draw of the men’s singles event at the Calabasas Pro Tennis Championships. He had a 6-2 6-1 win over Ti Chen (TPE) yesterday morning in the final round of qualifying and will play Donald Young (USA) in round one of the main draw later on today.
The $50,000 Calabasas Pro Tennis Championships will continue throughout the week with the finals taking place on Sunday 25th October 2009.

Sorensen (ranked 348) competed in the Royal Bank of Scotland Challenger in Tiburon, USA last week. Sorensen successfully came through the qualifying rounds defeating Australian James Lemke (6-4 6-0), American Tim Smyczek (6-4 6-1) and Lithuanian Ricardas Berankis (6-0 6-2) in order to gain his place in the main draw of the tournament. He eventually lost to American Michael Russell (ranked 91) on a scoreline 7-5 1-6 7-5 in the first round of the main draw.
