ITF World Team Championships
The International Tennis Federation (ITF) have been involved in running international team championships for veteran players since 1958 and the success of these early events led to the establishment of the World Team Championships. The event offers a full range of competitions for players of 35+ up through to Men aged 80 and over and Ladies aged 75 and over. These nineteen age categories have been pooled into two distinct groups younger Veterans (Seniors) between the ages of 35 -55 and older Veterans (Super-Seniors) aged between 60 and upwards.

Seniors - Mexico City, Mexico (Hard and Red Clay) - Teams 29 March - 3 April
World Team Championships (Super-Seniors) 2010
Super-Seniors - Antalya, Turkey (red clay) - Teams October 11-16 & Individuals October 17-24
2011 Dates
Seniors - Christchurch, New Zealand - Teams 21 - 26 February & Individuals 27 February - 6 March
Super-Seniors - Antalya, Turkey - Teams 10 - 15 October & Individuals 16-23 October
In recent years Ireland has regularly sent teams to many of the Senior and Super-Senior World Team Championships and 2010 will be no different.
