International Tennis Federation - Announcement for Assistant Research Officer Position

 

The International Tennis Federation  (ITF) is looking to fill the position of ITF Assistant Research Officer, in the Development/Coaching Department. The main purpose of the position is to assist the ITF Development Research Officer in the provision of the ITF Coach Education Programme, including the provision and development of coach education materials and projects (publications, ITF Coaching & Sport Science Review (CSSR), resources, courses, workshops, e-learning projects, surveys, ongoing co-ordination of websites and research projects, etc.). The position will involve some work related travel to ITF conferences. Among other things, all applicants should ideally have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Sports Science or similar, a good playing level, a coaching certification and good knowledge/expertise in coaching . Fluent spoken and written  English is essential , and ability to speak other languages would be an advantage. Very good computer skills are also essential.

 

The position will be based in Valencia, Spain and the successful applicant will receive a stipend of approximately $1,250 Euros/month.
